Fujian is a province on the southeast coastof mainland China. It is bordered by Zhejiang to the north, Jiangxi to the west, and Guangdong to the south. Taiwan lies to the east, across the Taiwan Strait. The name Fujian came from the combination of Fuzhou and Jianzhou two cities in Fujian during the Tang Dynasty. With a Han majority, it is one of the most culturally and linguistically diverse provinces in China.

Fujian people have a fame for being hard working and adventurous people. From a military strategic point of view, Fujian is located in a weak geographic spot due to its proximity to Taiwan. Because of this, the government has been quite conservative when making investments there. Nevertheless, some of the cities in the east region of Fujian boast a thriving industry powered by a number of large family enterprises. It is common to see a great deal of expensive luxury cars in the streets of cities like Quanzhou, which have thrived due to the success of it’s family owned businesses.

Fujian females are more traditional than girls in Zhejiang. They are super friendly, have strong ties to their families, and love children. Girls there all have amazing skin, and though some of them are a little dark, they all have radiant, bronze skin. They’re very trendy, and are usually sweet and hard-working.

You don’t want to mess around with a Fujian girl though. Historically, Fujian women have a high crime rate, and most of their crimes are premeditated and brutal.

All the crime comes from Fuzhou anyway!! Yes, there are Hokkien (Minnan/Amoy) mobs running the scene in SE Asia, but the Foochows run the most brutal one which has reached its tentacles into Flushing. (Also, their restaurants suck.)

Don’t let the Foochows speak for all of us Hokkiens!
